The World We Want

At the end of last term, Year 10 students from St Mark’s School were invited to participate in a workshop by acclaimed visual artist, Edwina Bridgeman, and professional spoken-word artist, Rebecca Tantony, at The Museum of Bath at Work.

Students were asked to create their own pieces of artwork inspired by the theme of The World We Want. The work involved creating marketing materials, writing a manifesto and text-based pavement art whilst encouraging and inspiring young people to share their ideas and ambitions. Students found the workshop immensely engaging, demonstrating their creativity and communication skills. Their work will form part of an on-going exhibition at the museum and provides an excellent insight into their vision for the future from a young person’s perspective.
