Paul Solly from Genesis Trust collected 170 individual, hand made Christmas cakes, complete with icing and festive decorations and their own individually designed gift box, signed by the children.
The cakes will be given out at the Lifeline Christmas Party today at the Abbey Vaults. Any remaining cakes will then be given out at the Sunday Centre at Nexus Methodist Church and the Life Skills Woodworks, a furniture restoration project for the long term unemployed in Bath.
Head of Technology, Zoe Balfre, said, “It has been a huge project to coordinate the efforts of over 150 children, but well worth the effort when you see the amazing outcomes.”
“Each cake box comes with its own personal message and special Christmas greeting from the children – something to hopefully put a smile on the recipients faces in time for Christmas!”
