A Warm Welcome for Our New Year 7 Students

Last Thursday, we were delighted to host our annual Friendship Afternoon for our new Year 7 students – and what a wonderful event it was!

The afternoon provided the perfect opportunity for our newest students to meet their classmates for the first time, explore their new school environment, and take part in some exciting activities. From trying their hand at trampolining with Miss Curtis, investigating the fascinating story of the Tollund Man with Miss Coombe, to creating beautiful friendship bracelets with Ms Scourfield, there was plenty of fun and laughter throughout the afternoon.

While the students were busy making memories, their parents enjoyed a relaxing cup of tea or coffee and listened to a warm welcome presentation from our Headteacher, Mrs Clare England. Parents also had the chance to meet other key members of staff, including the dedicated Pastoral team who will be supporting their children throughout their journey with us.

It was a fantastic first event for this group, full of energy, smiles, and new friendships. We can’t wait to see everything our new Year 7s will achieve when they start in September!
