Kyoto Gakuen School visit 2017
As part of our on-going partnership with ELAC Study Vacations, we were delighted to recently welcome a group of 20 students from Kyoto Gakuen High School, Japan, to St Mark’s School. Students were ‘buddied’ with a student ambassador from St Mark’s and followed a mixed programme of curriculum lessons and cultural workshops. The week culminated with a presentation and performances by the Japanese students on different aspects of culture and life in Japan including dance, music, games, food and traditional Japanese dress.
It was an enriching experience for all involved, reflecting St Mark’s commitment to international learning and gaining deeper global awareness.
