Exciting Rugby News at St Mark’s

For the last 40 years the main focus of Bath RFC, the old amateur rugby club, has been

centred on providing children from the local community with the opportunity to play rugby; supporting around 500 U7-U18 players, regularly training and playing at The Rec and Lambridge

When approached by the Governors at St Mark’s School, Bath RFC saw the opportunity to introduce even more local children to this wonderful sport and is delighted to have been able to come to an arrangement wherein St Mark’s will use Lambridge and Bath RFC use ST Mark’s facilities.

The facilities at St Mark’s in Larkhall include an all-weather Astro pitch with adjacent parking, which is also let to the local community in the evenings. Of the link Headmaster Barnaby Ash said, “We’re delighted to be able to add the use of the excellent rugby pitches at Lambridge to the sports facilities we offer students at St Marks, and look forward to welcoming the young people from Bath RFC for training sessions. It’s a great link where everyone wins!”
