Awards Evening 2015

Top students praised for their achievements

On Wednesday 18th November St Mark’s School recognised and congratulated students for their many achievements from 2014-2015 by holding an awards evening. As St Mark’s is centred on inspiring achievement, building confidence and enabling all students to thrive, this event provided the perfect opportunity to praise students on their many achievements in these areas.

The event was well attended with many coming together to congratulate the students for a vast array of accomplishments. These included the highest achievements in KS3 and GCSE in all subjects, most improved student in all subjects, 100% attendance and Business and Achievement awards recognising the successes of students in Maths, English, Science and Technology as well as the Peplow Shield for services to the community and the Wicheard Cup for best achievement and outstanding progress. This year’s coveted award for outstanding achievement was awarded to Head Boy, Ed Baldock, and the Highest Overall Achievement Trophy was awarded to Bryan Clarke for exceptional success and dedication across numerous subjects.

Students, staff and parents were joined on the evening by guest speaker, professional actor and parent at St Mark’s, Mr Pavel Douglas.

The evening provided an excellent opportunity for students to be rewarded for the hard work and effort they have put in throughout the year. Congratulations to all students who received awards and to all guests and families who helped to make the evening such a success.
